Key findings
Redfin’s latest neighborhood ranking — using January–February 2026 data — put Land O’ Lakes, Florida, at the top. The list measures year-over-year growth in listing views on Redfin.com alongside a Compete Score that gauges how hard it is to win a home. To qualify, a zip code needed at least 50 home sales in the two-month period and a Compete Score above 50.
The headline pattern: affordability close to major job centers is driving demand. Six of the top 10 entries are Midwest suburbs, while two Florida communities and two neighborhoods in the New York metro also made the list.

Mortgage planning should account for local competition, inventory levels and commute trade-offs.
